Author Biography

Michael Wilmore, The open University

Michael Wilmore was awarded his PhD in 2002 for a study of local media and globalisation in Nepal. He also has an active research interest in the ethnography of archaeology. He taught various social anthropology and material culture courses in both the Department of Anthropology and Institute of Archaeology at University College London between 1994 and 2002. Since 2000 he has taught social sciences as an associate lecturer with The Open University in the London and Southern Regions.
